Single Seater Formula Growth

Global Expansion of Formulas

There has been an explosion of growth in both professional and junior Single Seat formulas around the world in the last decade with a total of 17 new ‘formula’ just in the last 5 years alone.

This listing of 25 new Classes does not include the fact that the World Series by Renault has set up more formulas in other satellite countries such as; Belgium, Austria, Argentina, China, etc., etc.

Host countries supporting race promoters is fueling this insatiable demand for top-class single-seat junior formulas around the world. Yet there currently isn’t a large-scale formula based in Canada to promote Canadian sponsors, suppliers, race teams, nor drivers.

The last ‘true’ Canadian formula was Export ‘A’ F-2000 derived from the Canadian Pro F2000 Series also known as the Canadian Tire Motomaster Championship in 1989.
